Muhlenberg Middle School Choral Programs

Exciting new choral program coming to the middle schools in Muhlenberg County! If you are in middle school in Muhlenberg County and had fun in your elementary school chorus or if you have always wanted to sing your heart out but never gave it a go this is your opportunity to become an important part of a newly developing choral program. You will be performing in many different concerts both in our community and for the school. Also, through participation with this program you will also have the opportunity to audition for Kentucky American Choral Directors Association’s All State Choir, Kentucky Music Educators Association’s All State Choir, and 3rd District chorus.

There are three different possibilities for your involvement with this new choral program. You can participate during the school day, afterschool, or be a part of both! North Middle School chorus will be during the first and third quarter of the school year and will be during first period from 9:00pm-10:00am. South Middle School chorus will be during the second and forth quarter from 2:42pm- 3:37pm. The after school group will be a combination of students from both middle schools. This group of students will be bussed from their schools on Tuesdays and Thursdays straight to Felix Martin Jr. Hall. Rehearsals for the afterschool group will run from 4:00pm until 5:30pm parents/guardians of those involved will need to pick up their students at Felix Martin Jr. Hall.

Sign-ups have now started!

I am very excited about this upcoming year!!! Bringing back the middle school choral programs to Muhlenberg County schools is going to be an awesome experience that I hope you will become a part of. If you are interested in signing up for any of the choruses sign ups have begun. Please look below at the information about when and where to sign up for chorus. If you are unavailable and cannot make it out to any of these sign-up opportunities you can always get a form emailing me and I will send you a digital copy of the sign-up sheet. You can also turn in any filled out sheets to the front office where you are attending middle school. I am very much looking forward to meeting all of you and building up this program with you.
